Sarah Firmin was ‘discovered’ by Heals Textiles entrepreneur, in the late 1950’s, at the 1st exhibition of seriagraphs in the UK organised by Francis Carr in the Folio society, London. “Oak” based on D. Carrs’ (P.KASF) print “Marsh” and exhibited at the Brussels World Fair in 1958. In style and production it was a record-breaker at the time.
